American Red Cross
Damage-based financial assistance is available for qualifying households whose primary residence was destroyed or sustained significant structural damage in a confirmed Wisconsin tornado-impacted area. Temporary Red Cross in-person service in Menasha is scheduled through Sunday, August 23.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley
No-cost summer programming is available to all youth ages 6-18 at the Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah Clubs through Thursday, August 20. No membership is required. Free breakfast and lunch are also available to youth through age 18.

Volunteer Fox Cities reports that the large-scale Volunteer Reception Center and Donation Center are closed as recovery shifts toward longer-term and individualized needs. The American Red Cross provided the Recovery Hub with a new Menasha service-site update on Tuesday, August 18. Temporary in-person service is scheduled at LEAVEN, Menasha Public Library, the Multicultural Coalition & People of Progression Building, and Bethel Lutheran Church through Sunday, August 23.

The joint FEMA/state preliminary damage assessment for the July 27 storms has concluded. The state is analyzing the assessment data to determine whether to proceed with a federal assistance request; this does not create an application pathway for July 27 survivors.
Rechecked Tuesday, August 18. The PDA has concluded, but a July 27 federal disaster-assistance application pathway has not been announced. Do not present FEMA assistance as open for this tornado unless an official declaration and program are announced.
The tornado-recovery curfew covering the City of Menasha and the affected portion of Fox Crossing east of the Fox River was lifted Monday, August 17. Follow current local traffic controls and emergency instructions around active recovery work.
Lift confirmed during the August 18 Hub sweep. Older recovery pages may still show the former curfew, so this resolved notice is being retained briefly to prevent confusion.
The special tornado-recovery burn bans in Menasha, Neenah, and Fox Crossing were rescinded Monday, August 17. Normal local fire, burning, and permit rules still apply.
The special disaster-recovery bans are lifted; this does not override ordinary municipal fire or burning rules.
Wisconsin has declared a period of abnormal economic disruption for counties affected by the July 27 storms, including Outagamie and Winnebago. State consumer-protection rules prohibit price gouging on everyday essentials and lodging during the covered period.
Reverified Tuesday, August 18. Executive Order #303 was issued August 7 for 45 days and covers Outagamie, Winnebago, Forest, and Vilas counties. The Hub summarizes the protection but does not determine whether a particular price violates Wisconsin law.
The City of Menasha has installed physical recovery information boards so residents without reliable internet or social media access can see changing cleanup guidance, resources, and support information.

The temporary Fox Cities Campus Multi-Agency Resource Center has concluded after serving more than 350 affected families. Ongoing recovery help continues through 211 and established community resources.
